Paul Ferris

Born, raised and educated in Australia, Paul developed a passion for travelling from an early age. Paul has now spent over 20 years in the travel industry in Australia, New Zealand, Europe and North America. After completing the International Travel & Tourism Program at Hayton College in Sydney, Paul has worked for some of the largest tour operators worldwide. He has a wealth of knowledge in a variety of areas including reservations, operations, sales and marketing. Paul also has first hand destination knowledge during his time escorting tours through different countries as a tour director and driver. He expertly led groups of travellers, helping them to explore the best of Australia, New Zealand, North America, and 31 European countries.
In 2005 while still living in Australia, Paul embarked on a new challenge and developed Redback Travel Pty Ltd, Australia. Located in Sydney, Redback Travel is about changing the way travel agents operate and Paul’s dream of making travel easy, affordable, hassle-free and most of all an unforgettable experience, came true.
After a number of years of success and relocating to Canada, Paul then created the Redback Travel Group of Companies and expanded Redback Travel into Canada in 2010, located in Waterdown, in Southwest Ontario.
Using his business experience and his background of working for large tour operators, Paul understands how tours are put together and how the full reservation process works. Paul has experience dealing with airlines and travel agent partners, as well as vast experience dealing with cruise companies and all-inclusive packages. But what makes Paul so knowledgeable about travel is the fact that he has been there!! For example, Paul has been to Paris, France over 100 individual times and that is the kind of experience you need from your travel agent. The world is truly Paul’s backyard.
